A cross-sectional prevalence study of Raynauds phenomenon (RP) was performed by investigators from the University of Manchester, United Kingdom, using a previously validated self-administered questionnaire. The population studied was schoolchildren ages 1215, recruited from 28 state and private schools in northwestern England. Of 903 students sent questionnaires, 720 (80%) agreed to participate in the study.
