In a retrospective chart review conducted by the division of pediatric gastroenterology of Atlantic Health System in Morristown, NJ, researchers evaluated the effectiveness of cognitive behavioral therapy (ie, guided image therapy and relaxation techniques) in the treatment of childhood functional abdominal pain.
