This study examined the growth of children with cystic fibrosis (CF) who had been treated with alternate day prednisone during a previous study to determine the effects of anti-inflammatory therapy on lung function.1 Of 285 subjects in the initial collaborative study involving 15 North American CF centers, follow-up data was available on 224 of them from the national CF Registry.
