Researchers from the HealthNuts study group in Australia conducted a multicenter study to determine whether Ara h 2-specific immunoglobulin E (sIgE) measurement could be used to improve the accuracy of peanut allergy diagnosis and eliminate the need for oral food challenges (OFC) in infants with positive skin prick testing (SPT) for peanuts.
