Investigators from Case Western Reserve University and the University of Michigan surveyed parents about their interest in whole-genome sequencing (WGS) for a hypothetical future newborn. The survey was conducted as part of the C.S. Mott’s Children’s Hospital Poll on Child Health, which is administered to a nationally representative sample of US parents and nonparents. For this study, investigators oversampled parents who had children aged 0 to 17 years of age living in the household and racial/ethnic minorities.
