Investigators from the University of Pittsburgh and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital conducted a case-control study to examine posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and posttraumatic stress symptoms (PTSS) in children with a history of cancer. Study participants included children aged 8–17 years who had been treated for cancer at St. Jude Children’s Hospital, and healthy, age-matched controls who were recruited from local schools.
