Investigators from St Jude Children’s Research Hospital conducted a prospective study in children with newly diagnosed acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) to identify risk factors for hip osteonecrosis and to determine the utility of early screening with magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in identifying patients with asymptomatic hip osteonecrosis.
