Investigators from Turkey conducted a retrospective chart review to assess the spontaneous resolution rates of antenatally detected isolated hydronephrosis. Children were eligible if they were born at the study hospital between 2011 and 2017, had antenatal hydronephrosis diagnosed, had a renal pelvis anteroposterior diameter (RPAPD) ≤20 mm at the first postnatal ultrasonography, and had ≥3 months of follow-up and underwent renal ultrasonography at least 2 times. Children with ureteric or lower tract urological abnormalities were excluded. Demographic and clinical characteristics of eligible patients were obtained from the medical chart.
