Investigators from Delhi, India, conducted a prospective observational study to assess the impact of early vs delayed administration of antibiotics on clinical outcomes in children with sepsis. Children aged 2 months to 17 years who presented to the study hospital ED between 2017 and 2019 and subsequently were admitted to the ICU for sepsis, severe sepsis, or septic shock were eligible.
