Investigators from multiple institutions conducted a retrospective study to describe the clinical features of pediatric patients with pseudotumor cerebri syndrome. Study participants were children <18 years old diagnosed with pseudotumor cerebri syndrome at a single center between 1995 and 2017. The medical records of study children were reviewed, and demographic and anthropometric data were abstracted along with information on medical history, clinical characteristics, treatment, and outcomes. Participants were classified as “overweight” if their BMI was 25-29, and “obese” if BMI was >30. Children <13 years old at diagnosis were classified as prepubertal, while those ≥13 years old were considered postpubertal.
