Investigators from McGill University, Montreal, Canada, conducted a retrospective analysis to identify characteristics of children with a confirmed diagnosis of cerebral palsy (CP) or probable CP at 2 years of age who were found to not have CP (non-CP) when they were 5 years old. For the study, they abstracted data from the Canadian Cerebral Palsy Registry. Children included in this registry have a diagnosis of CP defined by specific criteria, usually before the age of 2 years, which is subsequently confirmed when they are 5 years old.
